The Commission reviewed the plans prepared by Kelly, Granger, Parsons for installation of a septic system. The plans were approved as submitted with the following conditions: 1) Project manager shall be contacted at least 48 hours prior to commencement of the project.

The Commission reviewed and approved the plans as submitted for removal and replacement of a rotten deck.

Continued to October 11, 2004 meeting
(Hearing continued from August 9, 2004.) The hearing commenced at 7:00 p.m.
1. All tree cutting in the resource area shall be performed when the ground is frozen.
2. There shall be no clearing within the first 1’-50’ of the wetlands buffer zone.
3. Any clearing within 51’-100’ of the buffer zone shall not exceed 50% of the canopy, and shall be uniformly distributed.
4. All disturbed areas, including all areas disturbed for the installation of the septic system shall be seeded with conservation mix, and mulched at the completion of the work.
5. The project manager shall be contacted to approve installation of the silt fence – David Dempsey, 413-528-6996.
6. The project manager shall be contacted at least 48 hours prior to commencement of the project.
7. Greylock Design shall meet on the site with each contractor to show him or her the limit of the project.
The Commission discussed the new SMA filing forms (RDA and NOI) prepared by the Clerk.. Chair to review further.
The Commission discussed the definition of “mean high water mark” with no conclusion
